Adam Renteria

Adam is a high school student who has a strong passion for youth mental health advocacy. His love of helping others has been a part of him from a young age. After working with Governor Sherrill on her campaign, he knew public service was how he would bring that passion to life. Adam has personally struggled with his mental health for years due to numerous traumatic events. He not only has first-hand experience with mental health struggles, he's witnessed his peers struggle as well. Because of his own experience, Adam understands the importance of access to mental health education and resources. Through speaking face-to-face with students and adults around New Jersey, he aims to help others understand the importance as well.
